World Cup: Coach Anastasi’s 20-person national team composition

Coach Andrea Anastasi announced 20-person national team composition for the World Cup. The tournament will take place in several Japanese cities, in term 20th of November-4th of December. The three top teams will promote to the next year’s Olympic Games in London.


On the 6th of November the national team will start a training camp in OPO COS (Olympic Training Center) in Spała, till the 14th of November. Before the World Cup tournament a short training camp abroad has also been scheduled. 12 teams will compete in the World Cup. Poland and Russia have been given “wild cards”. 

It will be the first Olympic Games qualification. 12 teams will play in London during the tournament. We will see: Great Britain (host), three top teams of the World Cup, five winners of the continental tournaments, as well as three teams from the intercontinental ones.
